STRENGTH IN THE CITY Event Liability Waiver & Terms of Participation

By purchasing a ticket, registering, or signing up for this STRENGTH IN THE CITY (“STRENGTH”) event, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. These terms apply to all classes, workouts, wellness sessions, activities, and experiences (“Activities”) included in this event.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK
You understand that participation in STRENGTH Activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, injury, illness, dehydration, slips, falls, outdoor conditions, and use of equipment.
By registering for this event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY
You agree to release, waive, and hold harmless:
STRENGTH IN THE CITY, Liezyl Ribeiro, all STRENGTH subsidiaries, partners, affiliates, instructors, contractors, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and venue partners from any and all claims, injuries, damages, or losses arising out of your participation in this event, including those caused by negligence (excluding gross negligence or intentional misconduct).

This includes any claims related to bodily injury, property damage, illness, or death.

HEALTH + MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By signing up, you confirm you are physically able to participate in the Activities and understand it is your responsibility to consult a physician if needed. You authorize STRENGTH to obtain emergency medical care on your behalf if necessary and acknowledge that you are solely responsible for all medical expenses.

MEDIA & PHOTO RELEASE
By attending this event, you grant STRENGTH IN THE CITY and its partners permission to capture and use photos, video, and audio recordings of you for marketing, promotional, educational, and commercial purposes without compensation. You waive any right to review or approve the final content.

PERSONAL PROPERTY
You acknowledge that STRENGTH is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items at this event.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Certain Activities may be led or supported by third-party instructors, studios, wellness practitioners, or vendors.
You understand that STRENGTH is not responsible for the services, advice, equipment, or actions of third parties.

INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and defend STRENGTH and all listed parties against any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your participation or your actions during the event.

EVENT TERMS
By purchasing or signing up for this event, you understand and agree:
This waiver applies specifically to this event and all Activities within it.
No refunds will be issued for missed activities, weather-related changes, or schedule adjustments.
STRENGTH may modify event programming if necessary.
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the event takes place.
If any portion of this waiver is found unenforceable, the remaining sections remain in full effect.
