A Gathering for Gay, Bi, Curious, and Trans Men

The Queer Men's Sangha is a warm and inclusive community for gay, bisexual, trans, and curious men, led by Darren Main. So many queer men long for a space that feels grounded and real. The Queer Men’s Sangha offers regular gatherings grounded in group meditation and meaningful conversation.  Find connection and a place to settle your mind and speak from the heart at The Queer Men's Sangha. Enrollment includes optional attendance in the 4:30p class.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A simple, welcoming space where queer men sit together, breathe for a bit, and share.

Meditation - We will begin with a meditation to quiet our busy minds.

Dharma Talk - A short, inspirational talk to set the tone for our conversation.

Sharing Circle - An opportunity to connect and share with other queer men and go deeper.

Meditation

CASTRO ROOM LLC: RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY SIGNING, YOU GIVE UP LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE.
Definitions. "Studio" means Castro Room LLC, a Nevada limited liability company doing business as The Castro Room. "Released Parties" means the Studio and its members, managers, officers, employees, teachers, instructors, independent contractors, volunteers, agents, successors, assigns, and the landlord and owner of the premises. "Activities" means all yoga and movement classes, workshops, trainings, private sessions, events, and online or livestreamed classes offered by the Studio, and any use of the Studio's premises, facilities, equipment, props, restrooms, and changing areas.
1. Assumption of Risk. I understand the Activities involve inherent risks, including muscle strains and sprains; joint, back, and neck injuries; falls and slips; dizziness or fainting; aggravation of pre-existing conditions; injuries from instructor adjustments or from equipment and props; heat-related illness and dehydration; and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. When I participate online, I am responsible for the safety of my own space and equipment. I voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown.
2. Health. I represent that I am physically able to participate and have had the opportunity to consult a physician. I will tell the instructor about any injury, medical condition, or pregnancy before class, and I will modify or stop any posture that causes pain.
3. Hands-On Adjustments. Instructors may offer physical assists. I may decline at any time.
4. Release And Waiver. To The Fullest Extent Permitted By Law, I, For Myself And My Heirs, Assigns, And Legal Representatives, Release, Waive, And Discharge The Released Parties From All Claims And Liability For Personal Injury, Illness, Death, Or Property Damage Or Loss Arising Out Of Or Related To The Activities, Including Claims Caused By The Ordinary Negligence Of Any Released Party. I Understand I Am Giving Up My Right To Sue The Released Parties For These Claims.
5. Indemnity. I will indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from my conduct during the Activities or from any claim brought by me or on my behalf in breach of this Agreement.
6. Personal Property. The Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
7. General. This Agreement applies to all my current and future participation. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. It is the entire agreement on these subjects.
8. Minors. If the participant is under 18, the undersigned parent or legal guardian agrees to this Agreement on the minor's behalf and on their own behalf.
9. Photo and Video. I consent to the Studio photographing or recording me during the Activities and using those images, without compensation, on its website, social media, and marketing, and waive any right to compensation, inspection, or approval of such images and their use.
