彩虹岩语 Queer Putonghua Climbing Meet up!

Are you a queer person who needs to practice Putonghua?

Are you a queer person who wants to rock climb AND practice your Putonghua?

 

Introducing 彩虹岩语 (cai3hong2yan2yu3), a Queer Putonghua Climbing Meet up co-run by D Wang (IG: @ranma_made_me_transtrender) and Karen. We’re two Putonghua-speaking queer climbers who want to practice climbing AND speaking Chinese at the same time. We’ll have a list of climbing 单词 (vocabulary) to collectively practice during the meetup! We hope to conduct the entire meetup in Chinese, but we know that everyone’s proficiency is different, so please ask if you don’t understand something.

Try to come 10-15 minutes before the meetup to sign the waiver and rent shoes! We'll aim to start at 7.

What you need: 
- A conversational proficiency in Putonghua 
- You gotta be queer

 

What you won’t need:
- Your own shoes and/or chalk– the $15 day pass includes these
- You don’t need to be Chinese to attend this meetup
- Climbing experience. Newbies welcome!
