I know Bartlett Lake is a little farther for some people, but it’s hands down one of the quietest lakes in the Valley. For me, it’s about the same drive as Canyon Lake, and I love how peaceful it is. Sometimes we’re the only paddlers on the lake.

One of my favorite things is that you can drive right up to the water, just like SB Cove. No hauling your board forever—just inflate, launch, and you’re on the water.

Things to bring:
• PFD (life jacket) — required
• Plenty of water
• Sunscreen
• Tonto Pass
• Towel
• Change of clothes and shoes
• Snacks
• Lights for your board (required after sunset)

Don’t have a board? No worries! I have a few available to rent for $40 each. Rentals include a paddleboard, paddle, PFD (life jacket), and lights for your board. If you’d like to rent one, send me a DM on TikTok or Instagram.

Service can be spotty at the lake, so this will be my first time launching from Bartlett Flats, but I think it should be pretty easy to find us. I’ll post a picture of myself and my outfit of the day in the SweatPals group chat before the event. I always try to wear bright colors so I’m easy to spot. (One of these days I’ll finally get around to making a Snooze Scouts flag. 😂)

Please make sure you download the SweatPals app and join the event so you’re in the group chat. That’s how I communicate with everyone before the paddle and share any updates, meeting details, and my outfit photo. I don’t believe you can access the group chat without having the app downloaded.

If you’re looking for a group that prioritizes chill vibes over perfection, and you’d rather play mermaids than race across the lake, you’ll fit right in.

I added this as a donation based event. You do not have to donate anything but, organizing takes a lot of time and effort so if you would like to donate it's greatly appreciated but never expected. I will be bringing back stickers and likely sparkling waters for folks.&#x20;



Also I chose women only as an option to get it to the right audience but Snooze Scouts events are for those who identify as women and non-binary folks think she/they.&#x20;
