**Revival Ultra: Sunrise to Sunset**

One loop. Sunrise to sunset. Twelve hours on trail. How far can you go?

This is Revival Ultra. A timed 12-hour race on a 3.1-mile trail loop where the day starts at 6:00 AM and ends at 6:00 PM. Every lap counts. The clock is the only finish line.

We built this for every kind of runner.

If you’re one of the best, this is your day to empty the tank. Chase the loop count. See what happens when you refuse to stop.

If you’re not a “runner,” this is still your day. Show up. Move. Stack miles. Go farther in one day than you ever have before. That win counts too.

**When** Saturday, October 24, 2026 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

**Where** Papago West Park Phoenix, AZ 3.1-mile trail loop

**The format** Timed. Sunrise to sunset. Run as many 3.1-mile trail loops as you can in 12 hours. Keep coming back to the start/finish. Keep stacking miles. Keep going.

**What’s included** Event t-shirt at the end of the run.

**What to bring** Your fuel. Your hydration. Your crew energy. Desert sun hits hard, so come prepared and stay self-sufficient.

This is not just another race on the calendar. It’s a full day of grit, community, and proving something to yourself.

Elite athletes. First-timers. Everyone in between. Same trail. Same sunrise. Same challenge.

See you at 6.

PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT AFFECTING YOUR RIGHTS.

In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Revival ultramarathon/endurance running event at Papago Park in Phoenix, Arizona, including the Papago Park 5K Fitness Trail and surrounding permitted event areas (the “Event”), I agree to the following:

1. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION

I voluntarily choose to participate in the Event. I understand that this is a prolonged endurance running event scheduled approximately from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and may involve many hours of continuous or intermittent physical activity.

I understand that participation is optional, that I determine how long and how far I participate, and that I may stop participating at any time.

I represent that I am physically and mentally capable of participating safely and that it is my responsibility to determine whether I should participate or continue participating.

2. SELF-SUPPORTED EVENT — I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR MY OWN SUPPLIES

I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A SELF-SUPPORTED ENDURANCE EVENT AND NOT A FULLY SUPPORTED ROAD RACE.

I am responsible for bringing, maintaining, and using everything reasonably necessary for my participation, which may include:

Adequate water and hydration

Food, calories, electrolytes, and nutrition

Appropriate running shoes and clothing

Sun protection

Weather-appropriate clothing

A working headlamp or other appropriate lighting when needed

Backup batteries or charging capability

Personal medications

Any personal first-aid or blister-care supplies I normally require

A charged phone or other means of communication when reasonably possible

Any other equipment or supplies appropriate for prolonged desert trail running

I will not rely upon Revival, event staff, volunteers, other runners, spectators, public facilities, water fountains, vendors, medical personnel, or any other person to provide the supplies necessary for my participation unless the Event specifically states that a particular item or service will be provided.

I WILL NOT BEGIN OR CONTINUE A LAP IF I DO NOT HAVE ADEQUATE WATER, NUTRITION, LIGHTING, EQUIPMENT, OR OTHER SUPPLIES TO DO SO SAFELY.

3. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS

I understand that trail running, ultramarathon participation, prolonged endurance exercise, and outdoor recreation involve inherent and other risks that can result in property damage, illness, serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis, or death.

These risks include, but are not limited to:

Extreme fatigue and physical exhaustion

Dehydration

Overhydration and electrolyte imbalance

Heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and other heat-related illness

Hypothermia or unexpected temperature changes

Actions, inactions, mistakes, or negligence of myself or others

I understand that this list cannot describe every possible risk.

I voluntarily accept and assume the known and unknown risks associated with participating in the Event.

4. PAPAGO PARK IS A PUBLIC OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT

I understand that the Event takes place in a public park and on trails or areas that may remain accessible to other members of the public.

I understand that Revival cannot control every trail condition, person, animal, environmental condition, or hazard that may be encountered.

I agree to remain alert, behave responsibly, follow applicable park rules, yield when appropriate, respect other trail users, and follow reasonable instructions from Event personnel.

5. LOW-LIGHT CONDITIONS

I understand that portions of the Event, Event setup, arrival, or participation may occur during dawn, dusk, or other reduced-light conditions.

I understand that reduced visibility increases the risk of falling, becoming disoriented, colliding with another person or object, or failing to observe a trail hazard.

I am responsible for carrying and using adequate lighting whenever conditions require it.

6. MEDICAL CONDITION AND PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

I understand that ultramarathon and prolonged endurance activity can place substantial stress on the cardiovascular, muscular, skeletal, neurological, and thermoregulatory systems.

I am responsible for evaluating my own health, fitness, training, medical conditions, medications, physical limitations, and ability to participate.

I understand that Revival does not provide medical screening and does not represent that I am medically fit to participate.

If I have any concern regarding whether participation is medically appropriate for me, I understand that I should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before participating.

I agree to stop or reduce my participation if I experience symptoms that make continuing unsafe.

7. ON-SITE MEDICAL SUPPORT

I understand that Revival intends to have basic emergency medical/EMT support available on site during the Event, but the presence of an EMT or other medical personnel does not guarantee my safety.

I understand that:

An EMT is not continuously monitoring me.

Immediate medical assistance cannot be guaranteed at every location on the course.

Advanced medical treatment may require outside emergency services.

An ambulance, emergency department, physician, or advanced medical facility may not be located immediately at the Event.

Response or evacuation may be delayed because of location, trail conditions, simultaneous emergencies, communications, access, or circumstances outside the Event's control.

I remain responsible for monitoring my own condition.

8. EMERGENCY MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION

If I become injured, ill, unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to make decisions, I authorize Event personnel to contact emergency medical services and to provide or arrange for reasonable first aid, evaluation, treatment, transportation, or emergency care.

I authorize Event personnel to provide emergency responders with information reasonably necessary to assist in my treatment.

I understand that I am responsible for medical, ambulance, hospital, transportation, or other charges incurred on my behalf to the extent permitted by law and not otherwise covered.

9. RIGHT TO STOP PARTICIPATION

I understand that Event staff may instruct me to stop participating or decline to permit me to begin or continue another lap if, in their judgment, there is a reasonable safety, medical, operational, permit, weather, park, or event-management concern.

I agree to comply promptly with such instructions.

I understand that Event staff's ability to intervene does not create a duty to continuously monitor me or guarantee that they will identify every dangerous condition or medical problem.

10. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY ARIZONA LAW, I RELEASE AND AGREE NOT TO SUE REVIVAL, THE EVENT ORGANIZER, THE CITY OF PHOENIX, AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, VOLUNTEERS, EVENT STAFF, MEDICAL PERSONNEL, SPONSORS, PARTNERS, VENDORS, LANDOWNERS, AFFILIATES, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN OR PRESENCE AT THE EVENT, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF A RELEASED PARTY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT SUCH CLAIMS MAY LAWFULLY BE RELEASED.

11. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks inherent in and associated with my participation in the Event, including risks resulting from my own decisions and conduct, environmental and trail conditions, endurance exercise, and the acts or omissions of other participants or third parties.

I understand that my acceptance of risk does not mean every possible claim is necessarily barred under Arizona law.

12. RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY OWN CONDUCT

I agree to participate responsibly and not intentionally create an unreasonable risk of injury to myself or another person.

I accept responsibility for damage, injury, or loss caused by my own wrongful or negligent conduct to the extent provided by applicable law.
