ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER, AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS

For purposes of this document, “Event” means any run, fitness activity, wellness activation, social gathering, or other event of any kind organized, hosted, promoted, or affiliated with Nameless Holdings, LLC (d/b/a Nameless Run Club, Nameless Runs Baltimore, or Locals Only), hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Event Host.”

The term “Participant” means any individual running, walking, spectating, volunteering, vending, or otherwise participating in or present at the Event. The term “Parent/Guardian” means any parent or legal guardian of a Participant under the age of 21.

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Participation in or attendance at the Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: accidents, personal and bodily injury (including serious injury, illness, or death), property loss or damage, and other economic or noneconomic harms. These may result from the Participant’s own actions or inactions, those of other participants, spectators, volunteers, vendors, the Event Host, or conditions of the venue and environment.

By attending, the Participant freely and voluntarily assumes all such risks associated with the Event, whether known or unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the Event Host or others.

2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of being allowed to participate in or attend the Event, the Participant (and Parent/Guardian, if applicable) agrees to:

Release, discharge, and hold harmless the Event Host, its owners, affiliates, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and partners from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising from or related to participation in the Event.

Waive the right to sue the Event Host for injuries, damages, or losses sustained in connection with the Event, including but not limited to claims based on negligence.

3. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION

The Participant affirms they are physically fit and capable of participating. In the event of illness, accident, or injury, the Participant authorizes the Event Host and medical personnel to secure medical treatment deemed necessary, with the Participant (or Parent/Guardian) assuming all costs of such treatment.

4. MEDIA RELEASE

The Participant grants the Event Host full rights to use photos, videos, audio, or other media taken during the Event for promotional, commercial, or educational purposes, without compensation or further approval.

5. GOVERNING LAW

This Waiver shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the Event is held. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING

I, the undersigned Participant (or Parent/Guardian), have read this Waiver and fully understand its terms. I acknowledge that I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue. I sign this document freely and voluntarily.
