Join us in Alameda for an afternoon rooftop 45min flow to restore yoga session (all levels welcome), followed by a 45min grounding crystal bowl sound bath.

Bring Your Own: Mat, water, and optional eye mask + layers or blankets for the sound bath.

Class Waiver and Release of Liability

Facilitator Name: The Iron Mat (Host)

1. Assumption of Risk
I, the undersigned participant, understand that participation in the Sanctuary Sundays event may include, but is not limited to:

Fitness and movement classes (yoga, stretching, movement elements and exercise)

Wellness workshops and interactive activities

Visiting vendor booths and sampling products

I acknowledge that each of these activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: slips, trips, falls, collisions, sprains, strains, fractures, concussions, allergic reactions, illness, or other injuries, as well as the risk of serious medical events such as heart attack or stroke.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in these activities, whether arising from the negligence of instructors, facilitators, the facility, vendors, or other participants.

2. Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Sanctuary Sundays event, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release, waive, and discharge The Iron Mat, Malaya Botanicals, event facilitators, vendors, their owners, officers, employees, instructors, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action that may arise out of or relate to any loss, damage, injury, illness, or death that I may sustain while participating in event activities, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

3. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Iron Mat, Malaya Botanicals, and all event vendors, instructors, and affiliates from any loss, liability, damage, or cost that may result from my participation in any  activities.

4. Medical Clearance
I certify that I am physically capable of safely participating in event activities. I have no medical condition that would prevent my participation and understand it is my responsibility to consult with a physician before engaging in exercise, skating, or related activities.

5. Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of an emergency, I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary by instructors, event staff, or emergency personnel. I understand that I am responsible for all medical expenses resulting from such treatment.

6. Photo/Video Consent
I understand that photos and/or videos may be taken during the Sanctuary Sundays event for promotional and marketing purposes. I grant The Iron Mat, Malaya Botanicals, and their event partners the right to use, publish, and distribute any images or videos containing my likeness in any and all media (including social media, websites, and promotional materials) without compensation.
If I do not wish to appear in photos or videos, I will notify the instructor or event staff prior to participating.

7. Acknowledgment of Understanding
I have read this Waiver and Release of Liability in its entirety, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including the right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing this agreement freely and voluntarily and intend for my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
