2 Prelim matches followed by knock-out rounds -- win and you stay on, lose and go hooooome 😉!

**No partner needed -- we'll connect you with a partner at the tournament; we'll begin the tournament with a prelim round of two matches to help new partners get a rhythm going.**&#x20;

The championship belts are defended every 2-months and are not up for grabs at this tournament.



**Prize**

* 1\) Free 1-month pass to Young Professionals Friday Pickleball Socials
* 2\) Receive 1 (of the 16 bids required) for induction into the YoPro Sports Hall of Fame

**Format**

\- Doubles Pickleball

\- Each team plays 2 prelim matches within their division; prelim outcomes determine tournament seeding

\- The knockout rounds (where you must win to stay alive) follow after the prelims; games during the knock-out stage will be back-to-back with few minutes of rest

\- Friendly, self-reported scoring; championship match is refereed

\- Tie breakers: 1st - number of wins, 2nd - aggregate point differential; 3rd - coin flip





**How the tournament will flow:**

\- 5:30 - 5:45pm: Check-in

\- 6 - 6:45pm: Prelim matches

\- 6:45 - 7:30pm: Knock-out rounds

\- 7:30pm: Championship match + championship belt coronation

I understand that participating in pickleball events organized by Young Professionals Sport Socials Limited Company involves risks, including falls, collisions with other players or objects, sprains, pulled muscles, dehydration, being hit by a ball or paddle, and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. I understand these events may take place at indoor or outdoor facilities that the organizer does not own, and that court conditions, weather, heat, sun, uneven or slippery surfaces, and shared equipment may increase these risks. I choose to participate voluntarily and I am responsible for my own health, hydration, judgment, and decision to play.

In exchange for being allowed to participate, I agree to assume all risks related to my participation and I release and discharge Young Professionals Sport Socials Limited Company, its owners, staff, volunteers, agents, the facility, and their staff from any and all claims for injury, illness, property damage, or death arising out of or related to my participation, including those caused in whole or in part by ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. I understand that this release does not apply to claims that cannot legally be waived.
