## **Barefoot Movement Workshop**



Join Vivobarefoot and LuxFit Mission Rock for a morning of movement, education, and community. We're on a mission to reconnect people with the outdoors and with the incredible foundation beneath them: their feet.



Led by Vivo Pro Educator **Heidi Van Mastrigt** and Animal Flow Expert **Tae-Woo**, this interactive workshop combines principles from **The Foot Collective** and **Animal Flow** to help you better understand your feet, improve the way you move, and build a stronger foundation from the ground up.



### **What to Expect**



We'll begin with an introduction to foot health and function, exploring topics like foot strength, balance, footwear, and why healthy feet are essential for movements such as squatting, lunging, hinging, walking, and running.



From there, we'll bring those foundations into motion through Animal Flow, learning movements such as Ape Reach (Open), Beast Side Kick Through, and Crab Scorpion Reach. Using a **test → learn → retest** approach, you'll experience how improving foot function can have an immediate impact on your balance, coordination, and movement quality.



Whether you're new to barefoot footwear or looking to deepen your understanding of natural movement, you'll leave with practical tools, new movement skills, and a greater appreciation for the importance of healthy feet.

After the workshop, stick around to connect with the community, ask questions, and try on the latest Vivobarefoot footwear.

By registering for and participating in this event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in this event includes, but is not limited to, hiking, physical movement, breathwork, and outdoor activities that may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, muscle strain, falls, dizziness, shortness of breath, emotional release, environmental conditions, or other unforeseen risks. I voluntarily choose to participate and assume full responsibility for any risks, known or unknown.

2. Physical & Medical Acknowledgment

I affirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in this event. I understand that breathwork and physical movement may be intense and that I am responsible for modifying or stopping participation at any time if I feel discomfort. I confirm that I have consulted a medical professional if needed and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions to myself prior to participation.

3. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Vivobarefoot event facilitators, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and all associated individuals from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising from my participation in this event, including those caused by negligence.

4. No Medical Advice

I understand that this event does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Breathwork and movement practices are offered for educational and wellness purposes only.

5. Personal Responsibility

I agree to follow all safety instructions provided during the event and to act responsibly and respectfully toward facilitators, participants, and the environment.

6. Media Release 

I grant permission for photos or videos taken during the event to be used for promotional or marketing purposes by Vivobarefoot and affiliated partners, without compensation.
