Join us for our third annual walk down [Christmas Tree Lane](https://alamedapost.com/features/alameda-life/ten-things-christmas-tree-lane-residents-want-you-to-know/) here in Alameda, followed by tacos at one of the favorite restaurants on the island [Cholita Linda](https://www.cholitalinda.com/location-alameda-ca)!

We will meet at the corner of Fernside and **3291 Thompson Ave** in Alameda.
Look for Rachel holding her light-up sign, and she will have hot apple cider and herbal tea available with paper cups, or bring your own mug.

Expect to stroll **slowly** down the sidewalk as we look at all the decorations, and many people will be out and about. It is a 0.4-mile round trip on flat pavement and should take approx 20-30 minutes depending on how slowly we go. The music and light show at the Nightmare Before Christmas House is not to be missed!

Please note that parking can be tricky in this area because of the free night event and its popularity with families from all over the East Bay.

The restaurant is located at **1337 Park St Alameda**, and there is free parking on neighboring streets, as well as the parking garage (free on Sundays!) at **1416 Oak St.** which is rarely full and only a 4-minute walk away.
If you prefer a walk to the restaurant you can start from Christmas Tree Lane which is 1 mile away (20 min walk).

Event will be rescheduled if the weather becomes rainy.

Participation: I understand that I am voluntarily participating in the third annual walk down Christmas Tree Lane in Alameda, which includes a 0.4-mile stroll on flat pavement. The walk will be followed by dining at Cholita Linda, located at 1337 Park St, Alameda.

Health & Safety: I agree that I am physically able to participate in this event, and I will walk at my own pace. I acknowledge that there may be other pedestrians, vehicles, or obstacles along the route, and I agree to take necessary precautions to ensure my safety.

Weather Conditions: I understand that the event will be rescheduled if the weather becomes rainy or conditions are unsafe.

Parking & Transportation: I understand that parking in the area may be limited, and I will make my own arrangements to park in available spaces or nearby garages. I acknowledge the parking situation and take full responsibility for my vehicle.

Cider & Tea: I acknowledge that hot apple cider and herbal tea will be provided by the event organizer, Rachel, in paper cups. I may choose to bring my own mug if preferred. I am responsible for handling my beverage and being mindful of my surroundings.

Liability Waiver: By attending, I release the event organizers, volunteers, and any affiliated individuals from liability for any injuries, damages, or loss of personal belongings that may occur during the event. I assume full responsibility for my participation.

Photography & Media: I understand that photos or videos may be taken during the event, and I consent to the use of my image or likeness in future promotional materials, social media posts, or related communications.

By attending this event, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this waiver.
