Welcome to **Spin the Block**.

**How it works:**
• One teammate runs the block 🏃
• The other throws down in a garage workout 💥
• Then you switch - again and again 🔄

**Registration:**
• Both teammates must sign up individually
• Be sure to list your partner during registration

• Don’t have a partner? Comment on our Instagram post to find one, then complete the official SweatPals registration together

LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE OF CLAIMS

Spin the Block – East Bank Athletic x Goodmiles Running Summer Fitness Series

By signing this document, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in Spin the Block involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: running on sidewalks and outdoor surfaces, participation in high-intensity strength and conditioning workouts, use of fitness equipment, movement in a garage facility, and general physical exertion.

I acknowledge that these activities carry a risk of injury, including but not limited to sprains, strains, falls, collisions, muscle injuries, joint injuries, concussions, permanent disability, and in rare cases, death. I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with participation.

2. Medical Fitness

I certify that I am physically capable of participating in Spin The Block and have no medical condition that would prevent safe participation. I acknowledge that I am responsible for consulting a physician prior to participation if I have any concerns regarding my health or fitness level.

3. Release of Liability (Injury & Damages)

In consideration of being permitted to participate in Spin the Block, I hereby release, waive, and discharge East Bank Athletic, Goodmiles Running, event organizers, staff, volunteers, sponsors, property owners, and any affiliated entities (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for injury, illness, disability, death, or property damage arising out of or related to my participation in the Event.

This release applies whether such claims arise from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Facility & Environment Acknowledgment

I understand that portions of the Event take place in a garage facility and on public sidewalks, which may include uneven surfaces, traffic, weather conditions, and other environmental hazards. I accept full responsibility for my awareness, judgment, and safety at all times during participation.

5. Personal Responsibility

I agree to follow all event rules, safety instructions, and directions from staff. I understand that I am solely responsible for how I perform movements, use equipment, and navigate the course.

6. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, liabilities, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from my participation in the Event.

7. Media Release

I grant permission for my image, likeness, and video to be used by East Bank Athletic and Goodmiles Running for promotional purposes without compensation.

8. Binding Agreement

I understand this waiver is legally binding. I have read and voluntarily signed this agreement with full knowledge of its significance.
