Comedian Stephen Campbell's one man show about maintaining your mental health after tragic life events, coupled with yoga therapist, Sam Pullen, leading the audience through breath work, chair yoga, and meditation provides a night of laughter and feeling lighter.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT. BY SIGNING THIS WAIVER, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO THE TERMS BELOW.
As a participant in the Stand Up Comedy, Sit Down Yoga (SUSD) event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation
I understand that my participation in SUSD is completely voluntary and includes exposure to physical movement (yoga), breathwork, guided meditation, and emotionally charged content in the form of live standup comedy and personal storytelling.

2. Physical Activity Disclaimer
I acknowledge that yoga, breathwork, and meditation may involve physical exertion, breath control, and mindfulness practices that may affect my physical or mental state. I affirm that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent my safe participation in these activities.

I agree to participate at my own pace and discretion and to stop any activity if I experience pain, discomfort, or emotional distress.

3. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge that participation in yoga, breathwork, and meditation carries certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, psychological stress, emotional discomfort, dizziness, or fainting. I assume full responsibility for any and all risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen, that may arise from participating in this event.

4. Emotional Content
The comedy portion of the show may include personal stories that address trauma, loss, addiction, mental health, and other potentially triggering topics. I understand that while the content is intended to be humorous and healing, it may elicit strong emotional responses. I take full responsibility for my mental and emotional well-being during and after the show.

5. Medical Release
In the event of injury or medical emergency, I authorize the event organizers and staff to seek medical assistance on my behalf if necessary. I agree to be financially responsible for any medical care needed as a result of participation.

6. Waiver and Release of Liability
I hereby release and hold harmless Stephen Campbell, U Streat Comedy, all instructors, facilitators, venue staff, sponsors, volunteers, and any affiliated individuals or entities (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liability arising from or related to my participation in the SUSD event, whether arising from negligence or otherwise.

7. Photography/Media Release (Optional but recommended)
I grant permission for my likeness (including photographs, audio, or video recordings) taken during the event to be used for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes by the Released Parties. If I do not consent, I will notify the event organizers in writing prior to the event.

8. No Alcohol or Substance Use
I understand that this event is a sober experience. I affirm that I will not consume alcohol or mind-altering substances before or during the event, and I acknowledge that doing so may pose risks to my safety and the safety of others.

9. Binding Agreement
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the event is held. If any portion of this waiver is held to be invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.

Audiences are led in breath work, before 25 minutes of standup comedy, followed by restorative yoga, then a short storytelling show, all wrapped up in a bow with a sound bath meditation
