This is a casual, beginner-friendly walk with no pressure to keep a certain pace. Come solo or bring an amiga and enjoy some fresh air while meeting new women in the community.

AMIGA MOVEMENT EVENT WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY & PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE

By registering for and participating in this Amiga Movement event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that participation in walking, fitness, wellness, social, and community activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, muscle strains, sprains, injury, illness, dehydration, heat exhaustion, heat-related illness, accidents, contact with other participants, traffic or environmental hazards, and other known or unknown risks.

I voluntarily choose to participate in this event and knowingly assume all risks associated with my participation, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable.

I understand that I am solely responsible for determining whether I am physically able to participate. I am responsible for my own health, safety, hydration, footwear, clothing, medications, personal belongings, and anything else necessary for my participation.

I understand that Amiga Movement LLC does not provide medical advice, medical supervision, or medical treatment. If I experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, illness, injury, or any other concerning symptoms, I understand that I should stop participating and seek appropriate medical attention.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Amiga Movement LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, organizers, hosts, volunteers, representatives, sponsors, partners, venues, affiliates, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in this event, including personal injury, illness, property damage, or death, except to the extent such release is prohibited by applicable law.

I understand that I am responsible for my own personal property and that Amiga Movement LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.

I agree to follow event instructions, safety guidelines, venue rules, and reasonable directions provided by event organizers or hosts. I understand that Amiga Movement LLC reserves the right to remove a participant from the event if their conduct creates a safety concern or disrupts the event.

AGE & MINOR PARTICIPATION

By registering for or participating in this event, I confirm that I am at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to this waiver.

If I register for, accompany, or bring a participant under the age of 18, I certify that I am the minor’s parent or legal guardian, or otherwise have legal authority to consent on their behalf. I acknowledge and accept the risks described in this waiver on behalf of myself and the minor participant and consent to the minor’s participation in the event.

I understand that I am responsible for the supervision, conduct, safety, and well-being of any minor participant attending with me.

PHOTO, VIDEO & MEDIA RELEASE

I understand that photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and other media may be captured during this event.

By participating, I grant Amiga Movement LLC permission to photograph, film, record, and use my image, likeness, appearance, and voice in connection with Amiga Movement activities, including but not limited to social media, websites, advertisements, promotional materials, newsletters, event recaps, press materials, and other marketing or communications, without compensation to me.

If I am the parent or legal guardian of a minor participant, I also grant this permission on behalf of that minor.

I understand that these materials may be edited, reproduced, published, distributed, or displayed in any lawful format or medium.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By completing my RSVP and participating in this event, I acknowledge that I have read and understood this waiver, that I am voluntarily participating, and that I agree to its terms for myself and, where applicable, for any minor participant for whom I am legally authorized to provide consent.
