Step into a gentle morning designed to help young women slow down, reconnect, and feel rooted in both body and nature. This **2-hour, one-day retreat** begins with a grounding exercise beneath the cherry blossom trees, inviting presence, breath, and a sense of calm as we arrive together. From there, we’ll move into a mindful

**2.5-mile walk**, offering space for quiet reflection, soft conversation, and embodied awareness as we journey through the landscape.



We’ll end **with a peaceful stroll + journal session in the rose garden**. While the roses may not yet be in full bloom, this moment serves as an intentional reminder that grounding is a practice that continues beyond our time together. *The garden becomes an open invitation for the young ladies to return on their own.* Witnessing growth, revisiting stillness, and continuing to nurture their connection to themselves and the natural world. **We will journal (with prompts) by the rose garden** before departing.

By signing this waiver, you agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge and understand that participation in outdoor and nature-based activities, including but not limited to hiking, camping, biking, forest bathing, and somatic exercises, involves inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to: trips, slips, falls, insect bites, weather conditions, animal encounters, dehydration, and physical exertion. I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether foreseen or unforeseen, and take full responsibility for my participation.

2. Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate in this event, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Whitney Wideman, Sunday Grounding, its officers, employees, volunteers, agents, affiliates, and event partners (collectively referred to as “the Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, for any injuries, losses, or damages (including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or death) that may arise from or in connection with my participation in the event.

3. Medical Acknowledgment
I affirm that I am physically fit and capable of participating in this event. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a medical professional prior to participating, especially if I have any pre-existing health conditions. I authorize the event organizers to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary.

4. Photo/Video Release
I grant permission for photos and/or video taken during the event to be used for promotional purposes by Sunday Grounding, including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed materials. (If you do not consent to this, please check this box: ☐)

5. Binding Agreement
I understand that this waiver is binding upon me, my heirs, executors, legal representatives, and assigns. If any part of this waiver is found to be invalid, the remainder will remain in full force and effect.
