📍 Located within Lost Dutchman State Park (fee for park)

🌞 Optional carpool meet at 5:30 AM (location will be released in group chat)

🌀 Meet at the trailhead 6:00 AM&#x20;

🥾 Start hiking 6:10 AM&#x20;

☕️ Join us for optional lunch after hike

Bring water + snacks + proper shoes + sun protection.&#x20;

This hike is a great opportunity to challenge yourself and see beautiful views all morning long!

Please know your limits and come prepared. 3-4L of water, electrolytes, and multiple snacks are recommended for this hike.&#x20;

We will have an optional carpool meetup spot so we aren't all paying the state park fee! I will message in the chat on Sweatpals to coordinate.&#x20;

HER TREK – PARTICIPATION WAIVER & RELEASE

Arizona Hiking Events

By registering for and attending a Her Trek event, you agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that hiking and outdoor activities in Arizona involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Uneven terrain, loose rock, steep inclines, and desert conditions
• Slips, trips, and falls
• Extreme heat, sun exposure, dehydration, heat exhaustion, or heat stroke
• Wildlife encounters (including snakes and insects)
• Falling rocks or natural debris
• Getting lost or separated from the group
• Limited or delayed access to emergency medical services
• Actions of other participants

I voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown.

2. Personal Responsibility

I confirm that I am physically able to participate in this hike.

I understand that I am responsible for:
• Bringing adequate water, food, and appropriate gear
• Wearing proper footwear and sun protection
• Monitoring my own physical condition
• Turning back if I feel unsafe, overheated, or unwell

3. Release of Liability

I release and hold harmless Her Trek, its founder, organizers, volunteers, and hike leaders from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from my participation, including those caused by negligence.

Participation is voluntary and at my own risk.

4. Emergency Medical Authorization

I authorize Her Trek organizers to obtain emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred.

5. Media Release

I grant permission for photos or videos taken during Her Trek events to be used for community sharing, marketing, and promotional purposes unless I notify the organizer in writing prior to the event.

6. Agreement

By registering for this event on SweatPals, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to this waiver.
