Join the Stay Stoked Surf Club for a sunset Surf & Shuck at Santa Monica Beach Tower 26! 🌞

We’ll paddle out, catch some waves, then hang on the beach for food, drinks, music, and good vibes.

Enjoy freshly shucked oysters from The California Seafood Company, pizza from Pizza Girl, drinks from our friends at Juneshine and Pentire, and goodies from Feeling Swell and KOOK. A big thank you to our local partners for joining in to share the stoke with our community!

Food and drinks will be provided (and are covered with your event ticket) but bring your own board and wetsuit. The surf will likely be intermediate conditions with waves estimated at 3-4 ft. Land lovers are more than welcome to join us too - bring your friends and don’t forget to bring the stoke!

The following includes a waiver of rights, a release of liability, a limitation of damages and an indemnification. 
By purchasing tickets for and participating in Sunset Surf & Shuck (the “Event”), put on by Stay Stoked Surf Club (the “Event Organizers”), I hereby acknowledge and agree to be bound by each of the following provisions of this Waiver, Release, and Grant of Rights (the “Agreement”): 

1. Voluntary Participation. I understand and confirm that my participation in the Event is voluntary. I am in good health and suffer from no minor or serious physical or mental injury, illness or disability that would make me especially susceptible to injury or disability while participating in the Event. 

2. Acknowledgment of Risk. I assume all risks, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, in any way connected with my participation in the Event. I retain sole responsibility for ensuring that the food restrictions and preferences are right for me, and I waive all claims against the Event Organizers arising out of my consumption of any and all food and beverages to which I may have an allergy or aversion. 

3. Release of Liability. I hereby unconditionally release the Event Organizers and its affiliated entities, any person or entity acting on the Event Organizer’s behalf (collective, the “Released Entities”) from any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including but explicitly not limited to attorney fees for death, injury, loss of damage of property, or any other claims that in any way arise out of my participation with the Event, including any and all claims resulting from the negligence of the Releases Entities. I release the company from any and all future claims for special, incidental, exemplary, punitive, consequential, or indirect damages and from any and all equitable remedies. 

4. Acknowledgement of Consuming Raw Food
CONSUMING RAW OR UNDERCOOKED MEATS, POULTRY, SEAFOOD, SHELLFISH, OR EGGS MAY INCREASE YOUR RISK OF FOODBORNE ILLNESS, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CERTAIN MEDICAL CONDITIONS. The event offers raw oysters and I acknowledge consumption is done at my own risk. Individuals who become ill after eating raw oysters should seek immediate medical attention. Individuals unsure about their risk should consult a physician.	

5. Indemnification. I agree to hold harmless the Event Organizers from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from my participation in the Event. This indemnification shall be in addition to all other terms of the Agreement and shall not limit or be limited by any other provisions of this Agreement. 

6. Medical treatment. I consent to receive any medical treatment deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during the Event and agree to be responsible for any and all costs associated with such medical care. 

7. Promotional Release. I hereby grant the Event Organizers the right and authority to use my name, likeness, photograph and/or picture from the Event for any and all commercial or non-commercial purposes known or later developed in perpetuity throughout the universe without further obligation or compensation. 

This Agreement waives substantial rights and includes a release of liability, a limitation of damages, an indemnification, and a grant of use of my likeness. I have read this entire document. My participation in the Event is expressly subject to my acceptance of the terms of this Agreement, and I will not participate in the Event unless I have accepted the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement on behalf of myself and on behalf of any other participant for whom I am making payment or who I bring with me for the Event.
