Join us for a fun Sunday morning with the Phoenix Tennis fam!&#x20;

We’ll start with a social tennis session open to all levels! 🎾 After we play, we’ll head together to Window Coffee Bar for coffee, food, and a good time with the group. ☕️

🕗 **Time:** 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM
📍 **Tennis:** Encanto Park&#x20;
☕️ **After:** Window Coffee Bar at 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

This event is open to donations, but donating is completely optional. All money raised will go toward the tennis balls we use at our weekly meetups. **Max $5, please!** 🎾

At Window Coffee Bar, you can grab coffee and food, and our group will receive **20% off!**

You can also skip tennis and join us at 11 AM for coffee, food, and a good time at Window Coffee Bar!

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT

By participating in any Phoenix Tennis Club (“PTC”) meetup, event, tennis session, drill, game, clinic, or other activity, I acknowledge that tennis and other physical activities involve inherent risks.

These risks may include, but are not limited to, falls, collisions, being struck by tennis balls or racquets, muscle strains, sprains, fractures, heat-related illness, dehydration, injuries caused by court conditions, equipment, other participants, or other risks associated with athletic and recreational activities.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I voluntarily choose to participate in Phoenix Tennis Club activities and knowingly accept the risks associated with participation.

I understand that I am responsible for determining whether I am physically capable of participating safely and that I participate at my own risk.

PROPER CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR

Participants are responsible for wearing appropriate athletic clothing and footwear suitable for tennis.

Proper athletic or tennis shoes are required to help reduce the risk of slipping, falling, ankle injuries, or other injuries.

Participation while wearing inappropriate footwear, clothing, or equipment is at the participant’s own risk. The Phoenix Tennis Club organizer may ask a participant not to participate if their footwear or equipment presents an apparent safety concern.

HEALTH & SAFETY

I agree to stop participating if I feel injured, dizzy, ill, overheated, or otherwise unable to continue safely.

I understand that Phoenix Tennis Club and its organizer are not medical professionals and are not responsible for evaluating my health, medical condition, or physical ability to participate.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, I voluntarily assume the risks associated with participation and release and agree not to hold liable Phoenix Tennis Club, its founder and organizer, volunteers, coaches, instructors, event partners, sponsors, participating venues, and their respective representatives for injury, illness, property damage, or other loss resulting from my participation in Phoenix Tennis Club activities, including the ordinary and inherent risks associated with tennis and recreational athletic activities.

I understand that this release does not apply to liability that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

MINORS

Any participant under 18 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult throughout the activity.

Phoenix Tennis Club and its organizer do not provide childcare or assume responsibility for supervising minors.

The accompanying parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult is responsible for supervising the minor and determining whether the minor can safely participate.

Minors may not be left unattended at Phoenix Tennis Club activities.

By allowing a minor to participate, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges the risks associated with the activity and accepts responsibility for the minor’s participation.

PHOTOS & VIDEO

I understand and acknowledge that photographs and videos may be taken during Phoenix Tennis Club activities.

Photos and videos from events may be posted on Phoenix Tennis Club’s website, social media pages, and other digital platforms and may also be used for promotional, marketing, advertising, or community-related purposes.

By participating in a Phoenix Tennis Club activity, I acknowledge that I may appear in such photographs or videos.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings, including racquets, phones, bags, clothing, vehicles, and other property.

Phoenix Tennis Club is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Phoenix Tennis Club organizer or a volunteer to contact emergency medical services when reasonably necessary.

I understand that I am responsible for any medical or emergency expenses resulting from my participation.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By accepting this waiver and participating in Phoenix Tennis Club activities, I acknowledge that:

I have read and understand this agreement.

I understand that tennis and physical activity involve risks of injury.

I voluntarily choose to participate.

I participate at my own risk.

I agree to follow reasonable safety instructions from the organizer.

I will wear appropriate athletic clothing and footwear.

I accept responsibility for my participation and the inherent risks associated with the activity.

If I am responsible for a participant under 18, I will ensure that the minor remains accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult throughout the activity.
