In partnership with All-Love Racquet Club, Dreamers Youth, HBCYouth, Making Wishes Matter and sponsored by USTA and McDonalds,  join us for **Tennis in Atlanta on the Block** — an all-day, all-ages celebration of culture, movement, and community right in the heart of Harlem! We’re transforming 874 Joseph E. Lowery into an open-air tennis and wellness experience for the whole neighborhood.

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, come enjoy:
🎾 Live tennis exhibitions and mini-court match play
🎶 DJ sets and musical vibes throughout the day
🍉 Local food and drinks
🎒 Back-to-school giveaways
🧘🏾‍♀️ Wellness and fitness moments
🎈 Family fun, games, and more

**Schedule Highlights:**

* **10 AM – 11 PM:** Wellness Hour
* **12 PM – 3 PM:** Kids & Family Tennis Programming
* **3 PM – 6 PM:** Adult Tennis + Community Hangout

All ages and skill levels are welcome — rackets will be provided, and all activities are *completely free*. Come swing by, try something new, and be a part of Atlanta’s tennis takeover.

WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Tennis on the Block Atlanta – Waiver & Release of Liability

By registering for, attending, volunteering at, or participating in Tennis on the Block Atlanta (“Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in physical and recreational activities, including but not limited to tennis, fitness activities, games, demonstrations, community programming, setup/breakdown activities, and related event activities, involves inherent risks that may result in injury, illness, permanent disability, death, property damage, or other unforeseen circumstances.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in the Event, whether known or unknown, including risks arising from negligence, weather conditions, facility conditions, equipment usage, participant actions, transportation, crowd interactions, or any other event-related activity.

I acknowledge that I am physically capable of participating and assume full responsibility for my participation.

2. Release of Liability & Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I, on behalf of myself and my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, family members, and next of kin, hereby release, waive, discharge, covenant not to sue, and hold harmless:

All-Love Racquet Club, Dreamers Youth Foundation, USTA Southern, USTA Atlanta, Clark Atlanta University, Wilson Sporting Goods, all event sponsors, community partners, vendors, volunteers, contractors, photographers, videographers, coaches, staff members, venues, property owners, city agencies, Parks & Recreation departments, affiliates, successors, assigns, and all other persons or entities connected to the Event (collectively, the “Released Parties”)

from and against any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, losses, actions, causes of action, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or related to participation in the Event, including but not limited to claims arising from negligence, personal injury, illness, property damage, theft, loss, death, or other damages.

I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims brought by third parties arising from my actions or participation during the Event.

3. Medical Authorization

In the event of an injury, accident, medical emergency, or illness during the Event, I authorize Event organizers and personnel to secure emergency medical treatment deemed necessary.

I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for all medical expenses, treatment costs, transportation costs, and related expenses incurred as a result of participation in the Event.

4. Photography, Video & Media Release

I acknowledge and agree that the Event may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, or otherwise recorded.

I hereby grant All-Love Racquet Club and its partners, sponsors, affiliates, media teams, photographers, videographers, and representatives the unrestricted right and permission to capture, use, reproduce, distribute, publish, edit, modify, display, and otherwise utilize my name, likeness, image, voice, appearance, statements, and participation in any photographs, videos, recordings, livestreams, or other media captured during the Event for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to marketing, advertising, promotional materials, social media, press, digital content, documentary use, and archival purposes, in perpetuity and without compensation or approval rights.

I waive any right to inspect or approve the final use of such materials and release all claims related to the use of my likeness or participation.

5. Minor Participation

If registering or permitting participation for a minor under the age of 18, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor and have full authority to agree to these terms on their behalf.

I accept full responsibility for the minor’s participation and agree to all terms, waivers, releases, and obligations contained herein on behalf of the minor.

6. General Terms

I acknowledge that:

* I have carefully read and fully understand this waiver and release.
* I understand that I am giving up substantial legal rights by agreeing to these terms.
* I agree voluntarily and without inducement.
* This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
* If any provision of this agreement is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By checking the box, registering for the Event, volunteering, attending, or otherwise participating in Tennis on the Block Atlanta, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Waiver & Release of Liability.
