Pilates

By purchasing a ticket and participating in this event, you agree to the following terms. Please read carefully.

This Liability Waiver and Release (“Agreement”) is entered into between the participant and Ariel Velasco/ Reset with Ariel, along with her assistants, affiliates, sponsors, and venue partners. By registering for and attending this SweatPals event at The Gallery Creative Space in Artesia, CA, I acknowledge and agree as follows:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participating in Pilates, stretching, strength-based movement, and other fitness activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: muscle strain, soreness, sprains, falls, imbalance, collisions, equipment malfunction, sickness, possible unforeseen medical events, and even death. I voluntarily assume all risks of injury or harm, whether known or unknown, including those arising from the negligence of the Organizer.

2. Health & Physical Condition

I affirm that I am physically able to participate and do not have any medical condition that would prevent safe involvement in this class or event.
I understand it is my responsibility to monitor my physical condition and stop immediately if I feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or discomfort.
I agree to notify the instructor of any injuries, pregnancy or limitations before the class begins.

3. Release of Liability

In consideration of being allowed to participate, I voluntarily release, waive, and discharge Ariel Velasco / Reset with Ariel, her contractors, volunteers, sponsors, and The Gallery Creative Space from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action related to injury, illness, property loss, or damages occurring before, during, or after the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

I agree not to initiate any claim or legal action ever against any of the above-mentioned parties.

4. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer from any and all claims, damages, costs, or legal fees arising from my participation or actions at the event.

5. Personal Property

I understand that I am solely responsible for my personal belongings.
The Organizer and The Gallery Creative Space are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.

6. Photography & Media Release

I grant Ariel Velasco/Reset with Ariel full permission to photograph and/or record me during the event and to use such images for marketing, social media, promotional, or commercial purposes without compensation.

7. Refunds, Transfers & Cancellations

I understand that all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
Tickets may be transferred to another participant with advance notice to the Organizer.
If the Organizer must cancel, postpone, or modify the event for any reason (including illness, venue issues, emergencies, or weather), my ticket will be applied to the new date or alternative arrangements.

8. Venue Liability

I acknowledge that The Gallery Creative Space is the host venue only and assumes no responsibility for injuries, accidents, or damages incurred during the event.
I agree to respect the venue space and equipment and understand that I may be responsible for damages caused by my actions.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in Los Angeles County, CA.

10. Acknowledgment of Understanding

By completing my ticket purchase through SweatPals, I confirm that:

I have read and fully understand this waiver

I agree to all terms voluntarily

My electronic purchase serves as my legal signature.
