This month for Book Club we will be discussing: Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson. The book is famous for coining the term "Metaverse," predicting aspects of modern internet culture, and exploring themes of technology, corporate power, and the nature of language in a dystopian future America.&#x20;

As always, come prepared for a discussion as well as suggestions for the next read. I will be taking donations as I will be providing dinner.

We will also watch Ghost in the Shell (1995) to compare and contrast the cyberpunk themes that were common in 90's media.
