• Race-relevant challenges like broad jump burpees, walking lunges, crawls, and more
• Partner pacing sprinkled in for those training for HYROX Doubles

GGS Track Night – Liability Waiver & Release of Claims

By signing up for and participating in GGS Track Nights, coached by Candace Anne and hosted by Grit & Grace Society (GGS), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in physical fitness activities, including but not limited to running, sprinting, interval training, bodyweight exercises, lunges, burpees, crawls, and other track-based workouts, involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, muscle strains, sprains, falls, collisions, heat-related illness, cardiovascular events, or other injuries.

I voluntarily choose to participate and assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with these activities.

Medical Clearance

I affirm that I am physically capable of participating in this event and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation. I understand it is my responsibility to stop participation if I experience dizziness, pain, shortness of breath, or discomfort and to notify the coach immediately.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for consulting a physician prior to participation if I have any health concerns.

Release and Waiver of Liability

In consideration of being allowed to participate, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Candace Anne, Grit & Grace Society, event volunteers, assistants, sponsors, and any affiliated parties from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, illness, loss, or damage sustained while participating in this event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by Florida law.

Location & Facility Acknowledgment

I understand that this event takes place at a public track facility and that Candace Anne and Grit & Grace Society do not own, operate, or control the premises. I accept responsibility for being aware of my surroundings, including track conditions, weather, and other participants.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Candace Anne and Grit & Grace Society from any claims brought by or on behalf of myself or any third party as a result of my participation.

Photography & Media Release

I grant permission for photographs or videos taken during the event to be used for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes by Grit & Grace Society, without compensation.

Governing Law

This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.

Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this waiver, understand that I am giving up substantial rights, and agree to it freely and voluntarily.
