Rise with the desert sun and join us for a challenging journey along the Ventana Trail to Maiden Pools. Over 5.4 miles and 1,318 feet of elevation gain, this out-and-back trail winds through rugged desert terrain, past cacti and rock formations, with moments of shade under scattered trees and the scent of warm earth rising from the trail. At the top, the pools offer a refreshing pause and a chance to savor the beauty of the Tucson highlands.

Notice the textures and colors of the desert and share in the collective accomplishment of reaching the summit before descending together. Join us for coffee afterward as we make space to connect and reflect on the morning.

This trail is located on the ancestral lands of the Tohono O’odham peoples.
