Wednesdays | 6:30 AM | Theater on the Lake

Wake up with purpose and power! Join us *every Wednesday morning* for a **complimentary  Pilates class** with instructors from Core Pilates set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Michigan. This 45-minute mat Pilates flow is designed to energize your body, focus your mind, and set the tone for a strong day all before the city fully wakes up.

☀️ WHEN: Wednesdays at 6:30 AM (60 min class starting at 6:30am, community hang to follow)
📍 WHERE: Theater on the Lake – outdoors with fresh air and lake views... We also practice on the cement stairs side on the lake.

Stick around after class for **sips, snacks, and wellness goodies** from brands like **Lifeway, Celsius, Legendary, Fueled by AF**, and a rotating lineup of pop-up partners all summer long.

STRENGTH IN THE CITY
GENERAL LIABILITY WAIVER & CONSENT AGREEMENT

By registering for, signing up for, or participating in any STRENGTH IN THE CITY event (each referred to as the “Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Assumption of Risk

I understand that STRENGTH IN THE CITY events may include physical activity, fitness classes, outdoor movement, wellness workshops, or community gatherings, which involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, allergic reactions, emotional distress, and property loss or damage. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, illness (including but not limited to COVID-19), or damage that may result from my participation.

Release and Waiver of Liability

I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release, waive, and discharge STRENGTH IN THE CITY, its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, instructors, event partners, sponsors, and venue hosts (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action for injury, illness, disability, death, or property damage arising out of or in connection with my participation in any Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Medical Treatment

I authorize STRENGTH IN THE CITY staff or volunteers to provide or seek emergency medical care if necessary. I understand that I am solely responsible for any associated costs or medical expenses.

Compliance with Rules

I agree to follow all rules, guidelines, and safety instructions shared by STRENGTH IN THE CITY staff, instructors, or venue personnel. I acknowledge that failure to comply may result in removal from the Event.

Photo, Video & Media Release

I grant permission to STRENGTH IN THE CITY and its partners to take photographs, video, or audio recordings of me during the Event and to use my image, likeness, voice, and statements in any promotional, advertising, social media, or marketing materials—without compensation or additional consent—across any medium, now or in the future.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with my participation in any Event.

Acknowledgment & Consent

By registering for any STRENGTH IN THE CITY event, checking the waiver box, and/or signing this agreement, I confirm that:
	•	I have read and fully understand this Liability Waiver & Consent;
	•	I voluntarily agree to the terms set forth above;
	•	I am at least 18 years old (or the legal guardian of a minor participant listed below).
