Grab a partner, throw on your best costume, and race through Old Town solving riddles, unlocking secret code words, completing fitness and mindfulness challenges, tasting wellness shots, hunting hidden prizes, and discovering local wellness spots.

This is a partners scavenger hunt! Teams of 2 will creep, sneak, scheme and sweat, their way through the spooky corridors of Scottsdale.

Old Town Scottsdale Wellness Scavenger Hunt
PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE

Please read this document carefully before signing. This is a legal document that affects your rights, including your right to sue. By signing below, you agree to be bound by all of its terms.
1. Acknowledgment of Risk
I understand that my participation (and/or the participation of the minor I have legal authority over, if applicable) in the Old Town Scottsdale Wellness Scavenger Hunt hosted by Finding Our Stride ("the Event") involves physical activity in a public, outdoor, urban environment. This may include, but is not limited to: walking, jogging, or scooter travel on public streets and sidewalks; bodyweight exercises and movement challenges (such as core work, squats, or timed circuits); use of recovery modalities such as cold plunge, red light therapy, or PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) devices; sampling of food, beverage, and wellness products; and interaction with the public, event partners, volunteers, and other participants.
I understand that these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to: slips, trips, and falls; muscle strains, sprains, and other soft-tissue injuries; cardiovascular events; motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic hazards; reactions to food, beverage, or product samples (including allergens); and risks associated with cold exposure or electromagnetic field devices for those with pacemakers, implants, pregnancy, or certain medical conditions. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks of injury, illness, death, or property damage arising from my participation, whether or not caused by the negligence of the Released Parties (defined below).
2. Health and Fitness Acknowledgment
I represent that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent my safe participation in the Event, or I have consulted a physician and been cleared to participate. I understand that all physical challenges may be modified, and I am solely responsible for deciding whether to attempt, modify, or skip any activity, including declining cold plunge, PEMF sessions, or any product sample. I agree to immediately remove myself from any activity I believe to be unsafe for me.
3. Release of Liability and Indemnification
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Event, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Finding Our Stride, its founders, employees, contractors, and volunteers, together with all partner businesses, venues, sponsors, and their respective owners, employees, and agents hosting or staffing any stop or station of the Event (collectively, the "Released Parties"), from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or my property while participating in the Event, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law.
I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur due to my participation in the Event, whether caused by my own negligence or the negligence of others.
4. Photo, Video, and Media Release
I grant Finding Our Stride and its Released Parties permission to photograph and record me (and any minor participant listed below) during the Event, and to use, reproduce, and distribute those photographs, videos, and recordings, including my name and team name, in any format now known or later developed, for promotional, marketing, social media, and archival purposes, without compensation to me.
5. Rules Acknowledgment
I agree to follow all posted Event rules, including obeying traffic and pedestrian laws, respecting partner businesses and their staff, not trespassing or entering restricted areas, and treating other participants, volunteers, and the public with respect. I understand that Finding Our Stride reserves the right to remove any participant from the Event for unsafe or disruptive conduct without refund.
6. Emergency Medical Care
I authorize Finding Our Stride and Event staff to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf (or on behalf of the minor listed below) in the event I am unable to communicate, and I agree to be financially responsible for any costs of such treatment.
7. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. If any portion of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.

I have read this waiver in its entirety, understand its contents, and sign it freely and voluntarily.
