The World's Toughest Mile isn't just a challenge for participants. It's a movement, and we need the right people in the arena to make it happen.

As a WTM Tour Volunteer, you'll be at the heart of one of the most electric wellness events on the road, helping create an experience that pushes people to their limits and then lifts them back up. From the starting line to the recovery zone, your energy keeps the whole thing moving.

**What to expect as a volunteer:**

You'll support across all areas of the event, including athlete check-in and registration, course marshaling and safety, the Recovery & Resilience Zone, vendor and wellness experience areas, and general event operations.

No experience required. Just a solid attitude, a willingness to work hard, and a love for people who embrace the grind.

1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that volunteering at the Event may involve physical activity, outdoor environmental exposure, interaction with participants, equipment handling, course setup or teardown, traffic flow assistance, and other tasks that carry inherent risks. These risks may include but are not limited to slips or falls, collisions, muscle strain, heat or cold exposure, dehydration, adverse weather, contact with uneven terrain, or injury resulting from proximity to Event participants. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with volunteering, whether known or unknown, including those arising from the actions or omissions of others.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to volunteer at the Event, I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, release, waive, and discharge the Event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, contractors, vendors, officials, venue owners, agencies contracted by the Event organizers, and all of their officers, employees, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to my volunteer service at the Event. This includes claims resulting from the negligence of the Released Parties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. Medical Acknowledgment and Consent
I represent that I am physically and medically capable of performing volunteer tasks assigned to me. I understand that I may decline or step away from any task if I feel unsafe or unable to perform it. If I am injured, become ill, or require care while volunteering, I consent to receive medical attention deemed necessary and accept full responsibility for all related costs. I understand that on-site medical resources may be limited and that emergency medical services may require external transport.

4. Environmental and Weather Conditions
I understand that volunteer duties may take place outdoors and may involve exposure to weather conditions such as heat, cold, humidity, sun, wind, or rain, as well as natural or man-made hazards including uneven terrain, mud, gravel, or equipment. I accept all such conditions as part of my voluntary participation.

5. Rules, Conduct, and Responsibilities
I agree to follow all Event rules, safety instructions, and directions from Event staff and officials. I understand that failure to do so may result in my removal from volunteer duties. I will not engage in behavior that endangers myself, participants, or Event staff. I understand that some volunteer roles may require specific physical capabilities or attention to safety protocols.

6. Media and Publicity Release
I grant full permission to World's Toughest Mile, Ice Barrel, and all event vendors, partners, and sponsors to use my name, likeness, image, voice, or performance in photographs, video, or other media recorded during the Event for promotional, commercial, or educational purposes, including organic and paid media, across all platforms and formats, without compensation or approval.

7. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, damages, or expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or related to my volunteer service or conduct during the Event.

8. Age Confirmation
I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older, or I will have a parent/guardian provide required consent.

9. Acknowledgment of Understanding
I have carefully read this waiver and fully understand its contents. I am aware that by agreeing to it, I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue, and I do so voluntarily of my own free will.
