Join us Friday, August 21st 9am-1pm for - A 4-hour continuing education workshop exploring the art of Yin through posture breakdowns, alignment, trauma-informed assists, and nervous system support. PART 2!

The best way I can explain the science of Yin in a nutshell...Deep Connective Tissue Stretching, fascia release, internal massage, trauma therapy, personal acupuncture, Chinese merdian line science blended with Yoga, an ancient Chi Kong practice coined into Yoga term later. Opening 350,000+ Nadi energy points throughout the body connected to the meridian lines, that are a direct current of blood, prana, energy life flow. YIN ACTIVATES THE PARASYMPATHETIC NERVOUS SYSTEM, FOR REST & RELAX STATE, AND NOT FIGHT OR FLIGHT SURVIVAL MODE.

This practice asks us to allow the pose to help us get back into body, to feel, instead of externalize, distract, or numb. Releasing, Restorative, Rejuvenating. Everyone needs Yin. Let's go within.

The first hour will begin with an Opening Sound bath and guide for the Yin class following, followed by an educational immersion into Yin postures, intelligent cueing, alignment for varying bone structures, assists and adjustments, and partner stretching techniques designed to support deeper opening in a safe and supportive way.



The workshop will conclude with a restorative Yin practice and sound bath led by Lee Haines of Udjat Yoga School.

## **About Lee Haines:**

Lead YTT Trainer, 500 ERYT, YACEP, and founder of Udjat Yoga School. Lee has studied yoga, meditation, energetics, trauma-informed practices, and healing modalities for over a decade. She has led multiple 200-hour yoga teacher trainings and specializes in Yin Yoga, restorative practices, Qi Gong, nervous system regulation, sound healing, and conscious movement education.

By registering for and participating in the Yin Yoga Immersion at Madre Tierra Wellness Farm, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

I understand that yoga, partner stretching, hands-on assists, sauna use, cold plunge therapy, movement practices, breathwork, and wellness activities involve physical activity and carry inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, strain, dizziness, emotional release, or aggravation of existing conditions.

I certify that I am physically and mentally able to participate and understand it is my responsibility to consult with a physician if I have concerns regarding participation.

I understand that participation is voluntary and I may stop or modify any activity at any time. I acknowledge that hands-on assists and partner work may be offered throughout the immersion and consent to receiving supportive adjustments unless I verbally opt out.

I release and hold harmless Madre Tierra Wellness Farm, Mayra Leal, Lee Haines, Udjat Yoga School, facilitators, staff, volunteers, and property owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, injuries, or causes of action arising from participation in this experience.

I understand that sauna and cold plunge experiences are optional and I participate at my own discretion and risk.

I acknowledge that this event may include photography or video content used for promotional and marketing purposes. By attending, I grant permission for my image to be used unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event.
