\> Come rep the university you graduated from in this fun, chill evening of pickleball with other active and diverse Young Professionals.

\> Wear your school's color or gear if you have any (still come if you don't)

\> University with the most wins gets a free pass to the September 11th Pickleball Social.

\> We'll get dinner afterwards

\> Open to all skill levels (beginners use "rally scoring" where every point counts, even if your team isn't the one serving).



**<u>How the night will flow</u>**&#x20;
\> 7pm: Check-in&#x20;

\> 7 - 8pm: Pickleball games (players are organized by skill level to ensure balanced games)&#x20;

\> 8:15 - 8:30pm: Final game wrap-up and group photo&#x20;

\> 8:30pm and beyond: Optional post-pickleball dinner

I understand that participating in pickleball events organized by Young Professionals Sport Socials Limited Company involves risks, including falls, collisions with other players or objects, sprains, pulled muscles, dehydration, being hit by a ball or paddle, and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. I understand these events may take place at indoor or outdoor facilities that the organizer does not own, and that court conditions, weather, heat, sun, uneven or slippery surfaces, and shared equipment may increase these risks. I choose to participate voluntarily and I am responsible for my own health, hydration, judgment, and decision to play.

In exchange for being allowed to participate, I agree to assume all risks related to my participation and I release and discharge Young Professionals Sport Socials Limited Company, its owners, staff, volunteers, agents, the facility, and their staff from any and all claims for injury, illness, property damage, or death arising out of or related to my participation, including those caused in whole or in part by ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. I understand that this release does not apply to claims that cannot legally be waived.

College Rivalry Night | YoPro Pickleball Social 

Ticket tier for those new to YoPro pickleball who have come less than 3 times; you'll pay a reduced amount on your 4th time and beyond.

If you've come to at least 3 YoPro Pickleball Socials in the last 6 weeks, come help co-host and welcome people. Role: (A) Greet and check people in as they arrive; tell people which courts we have | (B) Group picture: Get everyone together for a group picture at 8:30pm | (C) Paddle management: Help organize and manage the paddle stack when you’re not playing  (D) Dinner host: Choose a post pickleball dinner location + attend dinner | (E) Be the “DJ”; connect phone to speakers of Picklelab and play a playlist of top international songs or take song requests 

If you're a regular at YoPro Sport Socials, come help the host manage the court rotation; be responsible for announcing when players are up, raising paddles to signal whose turn it is to play. You'll still get to play yourself. Role: (A) Paddle management: Ensure that the paddles are properly stacked in the bucket, and adjust them as needed: 4 paddles per bucket section. Ensure that the skill level card for each stack of 4 paddles is in front of the stack and visible. Move paddle stacks up in the bucket each time a new group takes their paddles from the bucket to start a game. Ensure people don’t accidentally skip | (B) Announcement of open courts: as courts become open, raise paddles up to notify people that it’s their turn, and tell them which court to go | (C) Rallying scoring for beginners: Tell beginners to do rally scoring: all points count, even if the person’s team isn’t the one serving; first to 15 wins | (D) At 8pm, give people a heads up that we have just 30 minutes left as you give them their paddles Around 8:15pm, give people a “final game” heads up as you give them their paddles

We have the courts reserved for 1.5 hours instead of our usual 1 hour court reservation
