This special edition of Cowboy Camp with Gibson Ranch is a weekend of Western horsemanship fundamentals! We’ve put our heads together to design a weekend camp (Nov 8 + 9)  for folks eager to learn the fundamentals of cowboy and cowgirl life. Our workshop offers an authentic Western experience—right in the heart of Los Angeles.

In this weekend (or now day-long!) intensive,  you’ll build confidence around horses, learn the core skills of groundwork and horsemanship, and saddle up for your first guided ride—all in a welcoming, small-group setting.

**What you’ll learn:**

* Safety & communication on the ground
* Grooming & tacking up
* Riding basics & posture
* Guided group lesson
* Breathwork and Mindfulness

Whether you’re dreaming of trail rides, want to reconnect with your country roots, or just want a taste of Western life, this is your sign.

Cowboy Camp 101: Core Skills Weekend

Beginner Level: For anyone new to horses or looking to build confidence from the ground up. You’ll learn grooming, groundwork, communication, and the fundamentals of Western riding — no experience required!  Includes: 	•	Horse meet + greet + grooming 	•	Groundwork + horsemanship theory 	•	Guided beginner riding lesson 	•	Breathwork + Soundbath 	•	Downloadable photo album           •	       Goodie Bag!

For riders who can confidently control a horse at the jog/trot and are ready to level up. Focus on transitions, steering, obstacles, and body control — with guided liberty groundwork and wellness practices woven in.  Includes: 	•	Riding refinement + pattern work 	•	Liberty groundwork + obstacle course 	•	Team relay challenge 	•	Sound bath + breathwork 	•	Goodie Bag  🪶 Pre-approval required for 201 — if you’re unsure, we’ll help place you in the right group.

Immerse yourself in the full Cowboy Camp experience! Perfect for beginner-to-intermediate riders who want to build skills across both days and enjoy the complete horsemanship + wellness journey.
