**ROUTE OVERVIEW - MACHAME ("The Whiskey Route")**

The Machame Route is widely considered the most scenic and dynamic way to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. It approaches from the south, traversing the mountain via the Southern Circuit before summiting at Uhuru Peak and descending the Mweka Route.

**REQUIRED GEAR RESPONSIBILITY**

Participants are responsible for arriving with all required personal equipment in proper working condition. A detailed gear list will be provided well in advance. Inadequate gear may result in removal from the climb for safety reasons.
