Welcome to **Out of Office AF**, BalancedAF’s signature retreat series designed to help you step away from the everyday and pour back into YOU.



For Destination #1, we’re escaping to the beautiful B-OMI Farms for a full-day wellness experience centered around **movement, creativity, nourishment, rest, and community.**&#x20;



Think fresh air, beautiful food, hands-on experiences, intentional moments to slow down, and plenty of time to simply enjoy being out of office.



**Your boarding pass includes:** Pilates, matcha making, candle making, watercolor painting, curated breakfast + lunch, guided journaling, yoga, a restorative sound bath, a curated welcome bag, and plenty of time to explore, connect, and unwind.



Mats and Pilates equipment will be provided—just bring yourself. 🩵

Participant Waiver, Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk

By registering for and/or participating in Out of Office AF: Destination #1 (“Event”), hosted by BalancedAF / BalancedAF Wellness at B-OMI Farms, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation & Assumption of Risk

I understand that my participation in the Event and all activities offered during the Event is voluntary. Activities may include, but are not limited to, Pilates, yoga, stretching, sound bath, journaling, matcha making, candle making, watercolor painting, food and beverage experiences, farm activities, walking on the property, interactions with animals or natural surroundings, and activities provided by participating vendors or partners.

I understand that participation may involve inherent and unforeseen risks, including but not limited to physical injury, muscle soreness or strain, falls, allergic reactions, burns, cuts, exposure to heat or weather, uneven or slippery terrain, insects, plants, animals, agricultural conditions, foodborne illness, and other risks associated with movement, outdoor environments, food and beverage consumption, workshops, equipment, and farm properties.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume these risks and accept responsibility for my participation.

2. Physical Activity & Personal Health

I understand that Pilates, yoga, stretching, and other movement-based activities involve physical exertion.

I affirm that I am responsible for determining whether I am physically able to participate. I agree to listen to my body, work within my personal limits, and stop participating in any activity if I experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, discomfort, or other concerning symptoms.

I understand that BalancedAF, its instructors, vendors, and partners are not providing medical advice or medical treatment. I am responsible for consulting an appropriate healthcare professional before participating if I have questions or concerns regarding my ability to safely participate.

3. Farm & Outdoor Environment

I understand that B-OMI Farms is an outdoor/farm environment and may contain uneven ground, gravel, mud, grass, steps, farm equipment, animals, insects, plants, water, weather-related conditions, and other natural or agricultural hazards.

I agree to follow all posted rules and instructions provided by BalancedAF, B-OMI Farms, event staff, instructors, and vendors while on the property.

I understand that weather and other conditions outside of the organizers' control may require activities to be modified, relocated, delayed, or canceled for safety.

4. Food, Beverages & Allergies

I understand that food and beverages may be prepared, served, or provided by BalancedAF, independent caterers, vendors, sponsors, venue partners, or other third parties.

I am solely responsible for communicating and managing my own food allergies, sensitivities, dietary restrictions, and medical considerations.

I understand that even when dietary accommodations are offered, BalancedAF and participating vendors cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or guarantee against cross-contact.

I voluntarily assume the risks associated with consuming food and beverages provided during the Event.

If alcoholic beverages are offered, I understand that I must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol and may be required to provide valid identification. I agree to consume alcohol responsibly and understand that I am solely responsible for my decisions, transportation, and conduct related to alcohol consumption.

5. Workshops, Equipment & Products

I understand that the Event may include hands-on activities involving items such as hot wax, candles, fragrances, essential oils, art supplies, food preparation tools, Pilates equipment, yoga props, and other materials or equipment.

I agree to follow all instructions provided by instructors, facilitators, vendors, and staff and understand that misuse of equipment or materials may result in injury.

I also understand that products, samples, food, beverages, gifts, and other items included in welcome bags or distributed by sponsors or vendors may be manufactured or supplied by independent third parties. I am responsible for reviewing ingredients, labels, warnings, instructions, and other product information before using or consuming any item.

6. Independent Vendors & Third Parties

I understand that certain activities, products, services, food, beverages, and experiences offered during the Event may be provided by independent vendors, contractors, sponsors, instructors, or other third parties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I acknowledge that BalancedAF is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, products, services, advice, or conduct of third-party vendors or providers.

I agree to comply with any additional waivers, safety instructions, or participation requirements required by an individual vendor or activity provider.

7. Release & Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and hold harmless BalancedAF / BalancedAF Wellness, B-OMI Farms, their respective owners, officers, employees, instructors, volunteers, contractors, event staff, sponsors, vendors, partners, affiliates, and representatives (“Released Parties”) from claims, demands, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from or related to my participation in the Event, including personal injury, illness, property damage, or other loss, except to the extent such release is prohibited by law.

Nothing in this waiver is intended to waive rights or claims that cannot legally be waived.

8. Personal Property

I understand that I am responsible for my personal belongings during the Event. The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Emergency Assistance

If I become injured or ill during the Event, I authorize Event staff to seek reasonable emergency assistance on my behalf when necessary. I understand that I am responsible for costs associated with medical care or emergency transportation provided to me.

10. Photo & Video Release

I understand that photography and videography may take place throughout the Event.

By attending, I grant BalancedAF permission to photograph, record, and use my image, likeness, and voice captured during the Event for legitimate promotional, marketing, social media, website, advertising, and other business purposes without additional compensation.

If BalancedAF provides an established process for opting out of identifiable photography or videography, I understand that I am responsible for notifying Event staff and following that process upon arrival.

11. Participant Conduct

I agree to conduct myself respectfully and follow reasonable safety instructions from BalancedAF, B-OMI Farms, instructors, vendors, and Event staff.

BalancedAF reserves the right to discontinue my participation in an activity or require me to leave the Event if my behavior creates a safety risk, substantially disrupts the Event, or threatens the wellbeing of another participant, staff member, vendor, or animal.

12. Acknowledgment

By checking the acknowledgment box and/or completing my registration, I confirm that:

I have read and understand this waiver.
I understand the nature of the Event and its activities.
I voluntarily assume the risks associated with my participation.
I understand that this agreement includes a release of certain legal rights.
I agree to the terms above voluntarily.

Required Registration Acknowledgment:
