1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that participating in the Her Trek retreat involves outdoor and physical activities, including but not limited to hiking, horseback riding, yoga, meditation, camping, transportation, and other recreational activities. I acknowledge that these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Slips, falls, or injuries on uneven terrain
Weather-related risks (heat, dehydration, storms)
Wildlife encounters
Equipment failure
Risks associated with horseback riding (falls, animal behavior)
Physical exertion and potential injury

I voluntarily choose to participate fully aware of these risks.

2. Assumption of Responsibility

I confirm that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in these activities. I agree to listen to guides, follow safety instructions, and make responsible decisions regarding my participation. I understand that I may choose to opt out of any activity at any time.

3. Release of Liability

In consideration of being allowed to participate in this retreat, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Her Trek, its founders, organizers, hosts, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to:

Personal injury or illness
Property damage or loss
Accidents during any retreat activities
Travel to and from retreat events

This release applies whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Horseback Riding Specific Release

I understand that horseback riding involves inherent risks, including unpredictable animal behavior. I assume all risks associated with horseback riding activities and agree to follow all instructions provided by the stable, guides, and staff. I release Her Trek and all associated parties from any liability related to horseback riding participation.

5. Medical Consent

I authorize Her Trek organizers to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

6. Personal Responsibility & Conduct

I agree to act responsibly, respect others, and follow all retreat guidelines. I understand that failure to do so may result in removal from activities or the retreat without refund.
