About this event
One unforgettable fall weekend, thoughtfully planned from beginning to end—so all you have to do is arrive, exhale, and enjoy.
RETURN is a fall wellness retreat for anyone who needs a weekend where nothing is required of them. November 6–8, on a private nine-bedroom Victorian farmhouse estate in Michigan Wine Country, an hour and a half from Chicago.
Yoga. Meditation. Breathwork. Fireside conversation. Meals someone else cooks. A whole weekend where the only job you have is figuring out what you actually need.
Come alone. Come with a friend. Bring your partner. However you show up, you're part of the group from the first dinner.
THE EXPERIENCE
- All-levels yoga and movement
- Guided meditation and breathwork
- Journaling and reflection
- Restorative workshops
- Real conversation, not small talk
- Shared meals and snacks, made for you
- A guided walk through the dune trails
- Fireside evenings
- Actual unstructured time to do nothing
- Free time Saturday to explore Saugatuck
- An optional wine-country excursion
- A closing session to help what you got out of the weekend actually last once you're home
No yoga or meditation experience required. Nothing here is mandatory—join what calls to you, skip what doesn't, rest when you need to. This isn't a wellness boot camp you have to perform your way through.
THE ESTATE
An entire Victorian farmhouse estate near Fennville, Saugatuck, and Douglas—nine bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, multiple living spaces, a dining room built for long meals, a wraparound porch, pond views, a firepit, and an indoor movement space so the weekend runs smoothly no matter what November does outside. And yes—the property photos shown are of the actual retreat estate.
THE WEEKEND
Friday — Arrive Between 4:00–7:00 PM and Exhale
Settle in, welcome dinner, opening circle, gentle movement, and fireside connection to close out the night.
Saturday — Reconnect and Explore
Morning meditation and yoga, breakfast, an optional nature excursion, a wellness workshop, lunch, free time (explore Saugatuck, join the wine-country excursion, or do nothing at all), dinner, evening reflection.
Sunday — Integrate and Return
Quiet morning meditation, gentle movement, breakfast, an integration workshop, and closing circle before checkout at 11:00 AM.
Schedule may shift slightly with weather and the group—that's part of how a retreat like this stays responsive instead of rigid.
NATURE + LAKE MICHIGAN
An optional guided walk through Southwest Michigan's dune trails, likely at Saugatuck Dunes State Park—forested trails opening onto the lakeshore. We'll take an easy pace, with time to enjoy the surroundings. If it's not your thing, sleep in instead.
SATURDAY, YOUR WAY
Join the winery excursion. Wander Saugatuck's shops and cafés. Sit at the lake. Nap. Journal. Talk to someone new. Talk to no one. There's no version of Saturday you're doing wrong.
THE OPTIONAL WINERY EXCURSION
A Saturday afternoon trip to a local Fennville winery with a guided tasting—no pressure to drink or participate. Pricing, tasting options, and transportation details will be shared once confirmed. You do not need to drink, or go at all, to have the full RETURN experience.
FOOD
Friday dinner. Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sunday breakfast. Snacks and beverages throughout. You'll fill out a pre-retreat form for dietary needs and allergies—we'll do everything reasonable to accommodate them.
WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP
Choose a shared sleeping space, a private queen bedroom, a master suite for three friends, or the estate's separate silo apartment.
Shared accommodations include your own individual bed. Private double-occupancy rooms are reserved for two guests attending together and sharing one queen bed. The silo apartment features one king bed and can be booked solo or shared with someone you're attending with.
Room requests and assignments are confirmed based on availability and booking order. If a particular accommodation matters to you, we recommend reserving early.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Two nights of accommodations, every included retreat practice and workshop, all retreat meals and snacks at the estate, beverages throughout the weekend, the nature excursion, retreat materials, a welcome gift, and access to the estate's available shared spaces.
NOT INCLUDED
Transportation to and from the estate, the winery excursion, anything you spend during Saturday free time, travel insurance, and food off-property.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF
You've been carrying too much for too long. You're craving actual rest, not another thing to optimize. You're in the middle of a transition. You want back into your body. You're curious about yoga or breathwork but have never had the right entry point. You need permission to rest before you've “earned” it.
You don't need to show up flexible, healed, or ready. Just show up.
Take the weekend before the rest of the year fills up your calendar.
