Hosted by IMMORTAL 32 RUCK
The Immortal 32 Ruck is a **75-mile test of grit** that honors the 32 brave men who answered the call for reinforcements at the Alamo during the Texas Revolution knowing full well they were walking into certain death. From **February 26th, 2:00 AM to February 27th, mid-day**, we’ll retrace their exact route from Gonzales, TX, to the Alamo, pushing ourselves to the limit and tapping into the same grit and sacrifice they showed. Along the way, we’ll celebrate **Texas Independence Day**, connecting with the legacy of these heroes while testing our own resilience. ## THE JOURNEY We kick off at the **Reflection Pond at the Gonzales Memorial Museum**, standing at the very spot where the famous **“Come and Take It” cannon** sparked the fight for **Texas freedom**. From there, we’ll ruck **75 miles non-stop** to the **Alamo**, retracing the path of men who knew they were marching into certain death-and did it anyway. This isn’t about crossing a **finish line**-it’s about **honoring those who came before us**, **embracing discomfort**, and **pushing your limits** farther than you thought possible. The real test comes when the **miles stretch long**, your body wants to quit, and you choose instead to set aside your own struggle to be an **example for others**. That’s where **brotherhood** is built, where real **leadership** is forged, and where you find out exactly what you’re made of. At the finish, there’s **no podium**-just a moment of **shared victory**, standing shoulder to shoulder with the **tribe** you suffered with. Together, we lay down the **weight**, look back at the miles behind us, and walk away **stronger, sharper, and changed**. It’s a **night of reckoning**. A trial by miles that will **test you**, **bond you**, and leave you **different** than when you started. ## IMPORTANT DETAILS This is a group event, not a race. We move as one team, only as fast as our slowest member. The event is built this way on purpose-to teach self-awareness and grit by forcing you to confront your own struggle while learning to think beyond yourself. In that tension, real strength is found. Official Project Grit rucks are team events but make no mistake: this is self-supported. Your pack is your responsibility: fuel, water, foot care, all of it. We do have a support team for tap-outs and water refills, but they’re not a pit crew and the van is not for gear storage. There are a few stores along the way, but don’t count on them having what you need. Plan ahead. Pack smart. Self-reliance makes you stronger and stronger people make better teammates. That’s the point. This event will break you down, test your limits, and show you what you’re made of. And if you can set aside your own struggle to be an example for others, it will build a kind of brotherhood and leadership you won’t find anywhere else. ## PACK SUGESSTIONS * **Fuel**: Usually 200–300 calories per hour. Easy-grab snacks like bars, gels, or trail mix. * **Water**: We recommend a **3-liter water bladder**. * **Electrolytes**: Crucial in the Texas heat. If you use powders, plan how you’ll mix them. Chewables or tabs can be easier. * **Blister Care Kit (Pack it or Regret it)**: Everyone has their own version. Find yours and bring it. * **Individual First Aid Kit**: Basic medical supplies to treat injuries like cuts, blisters, and minor wounds. Everyone has their own version. Find yours and bring it. * **Miscellaneous**: Headlamp, extra socks, layers. Early spring weather can surprise you in Texas. **Plan ahead, pack smart, and show up ready**—not just for yourself, but for your team. ## ROUTE + AND TERRAIN * **Gonzales to Seguin** * **Seguin to The Alamo** * **There will be some stores along the route for re-supply.** ## TAKE AWAYS * **Push Your Limits**: Conquer 75 miles of physical and mental challenges. * **Brotherhood**: Build real connections with your crew as you grind through every mile. * **Honor History**: Retrace the path of the Immortal 32 from Gonzales to the Alamo. * **Build Resilience**: Discover your true strength when you’re pushed to your edge. * **Celebrate Texas Independence Day**: Arrive at the Alamo and honor the legacy of Texas freedom. * **Create Lifelong Memories**: This isn’t just a challenge—it’s an experience you’ll carry with you for life. Tell your friends, family, neighbors—whoever’s ready for something real. This is a journey they won’t want to miss! ## TICKET PRICE: $200 #### DISCLAIMER This is a **self-supported endurance event**. By registering, you acknowledge and accept **full responsibility** for your own health, hydration, nutrition, gear, and medical needs throughout the ruck. There will be **no aid stations** or **medical personnel** provided. You are expected to **plan ahead**, carry everything you need, and **know your limits**. Participation is **voluntary** and undertaken at your own risk. A **signed liability waiver** is required to participate. **Challenge Mediocrity. Embrace Difficulty. Harness the Power of Teamwork.**
