*Description:* **4.0-mile loop with 1,417’ of total elevation gain, or the direct return of 3.2 miles** with easier footing. Enjoy some of the most spectacular panoramic scenery in Los Angeles as you bag three epic destinations - the Wisdom Tree (the only tree to survive the 2007 fire, an an inspiration to many), Cahuenga Peak (highest point in Griffith Park) and the Hollywood Sign (Mt. Lee).  This is a moderately challenging loop hike with extreme elevation gain in the first mile and some areas of rugged, rocky trail. Hiking poles can be helpful and Peluva Strand ATR can be very helpful! The trail is exposed so be prepared for heat and sun. From Lake Hollywood Dr. street parking, you will ascend sharply (800’ in first mile) on the Wonder View Trail to the Wisdom Tree, then to Cahuenga Peak, then to Mount Lee directly above the Hollywood sign.
