Hosted by Less Hustle, More Exhale ✨
Unwell Wellness Club: Nervous System Workshop + Movement Reset Burnout Edition — Less Hustle, More Exhale Sunday, June 28th · 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM · Miami Design District Some of us don’t know how to slow down. Not because we don’t want to, but likely because our nervous systems + conditioning never got the memo that it’s okay to. This is a morning to change that. Join us for an intentionally small, deeply curated gathering built for the woman who’s running on empty and calling it “fine.” Over three hours, we’ll move through psychologist-led nervous system + parts work (yes, on canvas — you’ll see), a guided meditation and movement reset, and unhurried space to just be in a room full of people who get it. Here’s a taste of what’s waiting for you: ✨Hands-on nervous system work led by Dr. Jess, where you’ll meet the parts of you that can’t seem to power down ✨A grounding breathwork + soundbowl + yoga reset with Valentina ✨Iced coffee and/or fresh lemonade provided by The Sip Stand (our favorite!) and bites by Pura Vida (yum 👀) to keep you nourished ✨A make-your-own goodie experience that’s a little different than you’d expect — think sensory, think yours to build and yours to take home. We’ll leave it at that. 👀 ✨A social hour for real connection, no small talk required 🚫 You’ll leave with something you made, something to keep, and a mind + body that finally exhaled. Spots are limited and this one’s curated with care ..when it’s full, it’s full 🫶🤍✨
Hosted by Nervous System Reset: A Guided Breathwork Experience
This group session is designed to help you reset on Sunday evening so you can start your week feeling calm, clear, and grounded. Through guided breathwork, you’ll release stress, clear your mind, and reconnect with your body in a structured, supportive environment. **If you struggle to sit still or quiet your mind through traditional meditation, think of this as a more active, guided way to reset your mind and body.** No experience needed. This is beginner-friendly. ## **What to Expect** • Short grounding to settle your mind and body • Guided breathwork with clear, step-by-step instruction • Music that supports the process, starting more activating and gradually slowing into a calm, regulated state • Space to release physical and emotional tension • Time at the end to integrate and return to a steady, grounded state This is a structured and supportive experience. You are always in control and can move at your own pace. ## **What is Breathwork** Breathwork is a structured breathing practice that helps regulate your nervous system. It allows your body to release stored stress, improve mental clarity, and shift out of a constant state of overwhelm or tension. You may feel physical sensations during the session such as tingling, warmth, or changes in body temperature. Emotional release can also happen. This is normal and part of how the body processes stress. ## **Who This Is For** This session is for you if: • You feel stressed, burned out, or mentally overloaded • You have trouble slowing down or relaxing • You feel disconnected or “off” • You want a reset without overcomplicating the process ## **What to Bring** • Comfortable clothing • Yoga mat or something to lie on • Water • A sweater, hoodie, or blanket (your body temperature may change) • Optional: eye mask or small pillow ## **Important Notes / Contraindications** Avoid heavy meals at least 60 minutes before the session. This session may not be suitable if you have: • Epilepsy or seizure disorders • Detached retina or glaucoma • Uncontrolled high blood pressure • Serious cardiovascular conditions or history of heart attack • Pregnancy • Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or recent psychiatric hospitalization • History of stroke, aneurysm, or neurological conditions If you’re unsure, please reach out before booking. ## **About the Facilitator** Alejandra Miranda (Aleximir) is a somatic breathwork practitioner and emotional wellness coach with a background in psychology and high-performance environments. She helps people regulate their nervous system, gain clarity, and move forward with more control, focus, and direction. ## *If you’ve been needing a reset, this is a space to slow down, clear your head, and reconnect with yourself.* **📍 Parking** There is paid street parking available along NW 29th Street, as well as a mix of free and paid street parking along NW 6th Ave. **📍 Arrival Policy** Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the event start time to check in and settle in. Doors will close promptly at 5:00 PM. To maintain the integrity of the session and ensure everyone has a grounded, uninterrupted experience, late entry will not be permitted. If you arrive after the doors are closed, you will not be able to join the session. Tickets are non-refundable, but in the case of an emergency, you may reach out to be considered for a future session.

Where to Find Workshops in Miami
Miami's sprawling landscape presents distinct flavors for workshop seekers, each neighborhood offering a unique environment for learning and creativity. For the artistically inclined or tech-savvy, Wynwood is an absolute must. Amidst its iconic Wynwood Walls and numerous galleries, you'll find workshops ranging from street art techniques to coding bootcamps and graphic design. The district's edgy, industrial-chic vibe fosters innovation and creative expression, making it a dynamic place to learn. If professional development and business acumen are your focus, Brickell and Downtown Miami are the epicenters. With soaring skyscrapers and the bustling Brickell City Centre, this area hosts workshops on finance, marketing, real estate, and entrepreneurship. It’s perfect for networking with Miami's business elite and staying ahead in your field. The energy here is undeniably driven and forward-thinking. For wellness, culinary arts, or photography, look no further than South Beach and its surrounding Miami Beach areas. Along Ocean Drive and near Lincoln Road, you can find beach yoga workshops, healthy cooking classes, or photography sessions capturing the iconic Art Deco architecture and stunning sunrises. The relaxed, scenic environment is ideal for activities that promote well-being and visual artistry. Finally, for a deep dive into culture and tradition, Little Havana offers authentic workshops in cigar rolling, salsa dancing, and Cuban cuisine, providing an immersive experience on Calle Ocho.
What to Expect at Your First Workshop
When you sign up for a workshop in Miami, anticipate an engaging, hands-on experience designed to immerse you directly into the subject matter. Most workshops are structured to be interactive, often starting with an introduction or demonstration by the instructor, followed by ample time for participants to practice and apply what they've learned. You'll find durations vary widely, from a two-hour intensive session focused on a specific technique to a full-day retreat or even a multi-week series exploring a broader topic. Pace and difficulty levels are usually well-advertised; many workshops cater to beginners with no prior experience, while others target intermediate or advanced learners looking to refine specific skills. It's common to find a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, encouraging participants to share ideas and learn from each other. Depending on the workshop, you might need to bring a notebook, a specific tool, or simply an open mind and a willingness to participate. The social aspect is often a highlight, providing opportunities to connect with fellow Miamians who share your interests, fostering new friendships and professional connections in a relaxed setting.

Once you arrive for your first session, expect a warm welcome, often with a brief ice-breaker to help everyone feel comfortable. The instructor will typically provide an overview of the day's agenda and learning objectives before diving into the core content. You’ll find the environment is usually conducive to learning, with instructors eager to share their expertise. Workshop etiquette generally involves arriving on time, actively participating, and showing respect for both the instructor and your fellow learners. Don't be afraid to ask questions; that's what workshops are for! Cost expectations vary significantly across Miami. While some specialized, high-end workshops can be several hundred dollars, many community-based or introductory sessions are free or low-cost, making learning accessible to everyone. Always check if materials are included in the price or if there are any additional fees.
How to Choose the Right Workshop
Selecting the perfect workshop in Miami involves considering several factors to ensure it aligns with your goals and interests. First, think about your primary motivation: are you looking to acquire a new skill, network, or simply enjoy a creative outlet? This will help narrow down the vast array of options, from intensive tech bootcamps in Brickell to leisurely painting classes in Wynwood. Consider the workshop's pace and duration. Do you prefer a quick, introductory session or a more in-depth, multi-day experience? Research the instructor's background and reviews; a passionate, knowledgeable teacher can make all the difference. Location is also key; opt for a neighborhood that is convenient or offers the specific vibe you're seeking, whether it's the artistic energy of Wynwood or the historic charm of Coral Gables. Finally, assess the group size and atmosphere. Some workshops thrive on intimate, focused learning, while others are designed for broader social interaction. Don't hesitate to contact the organizer with any questions about materials, prerequisites, or the day's agenda.
